Always sterilize your roller or pen before and after every use. Start easy: use a short needle length (1/128 inch to 1/100 inch or 0.2 mm–0.5 mm) twice a week. Once your scalp gets used to it, you can move to a longer needle (1/100 inch to 1/32 inch, or 0.5 mm–1.0 mm) to encourage deeper regeneration.

1. Prep: Wet your hair or wash it beforehand to create a flat surface.
