Celebrity skincare brands now dominate the regular beauty industry, and many people are looking at their pictures and videos, trying to learn and repeat their makeup and skincare tricks.

The Skinara® May 2026 report analysed 25 celebrities known for high-interest skincare routines, comparing online demand, routine style, associated skincare brands and Instagram audience size. Our dermatology experts analyzed the main methods of the routines, total online interest, the skincare brand the celebrity launched, and the brand's Instagram followers.

The table below shows the top 5 celebrity skincare routines by total online interest.

1 Sofia Vergara SPF-first, anti-aging glow 2.2M Toty 158K
2 Kim Kardashian 9-step luxury system 68.2K SKKN by Kim 5.4M

4 Beyoncé Hydration + slugging glow 19K Cécred 554K
5 Hailey Bieber “Glazed donut” trend 11.4K Rhode Skin Sold to e.l.f. for $1B, Mar 2025 4.1M
  1. Sofia Vergara

  • Total interest: 2.2M
  • Skincare brand: Toty
  • Brand’s Instagram followers: 158K

Sofia Vergara’s skincare routine generated the highest interest, with 2.2 million searches, driven by a simple SPF-first approach rather than a complex multi-step system. Sofia sticks to the basics and pays attention to her face daily. The main trick is putting SPF first, which prevents premature aging caused by UV exposure. She also has a skincare brand, Toty, which 158,000 people follow on Instagram, hoping to achieve the same healthy glow.

  1. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian ranks second, with 5.4 million people following her brand (SKKN) on Instagram. Unlike Sofia’s clear one-trick routine, Kim uses a 9-step process that includes cleanser, toner, oil drops, and eye cream. When using the SKKN brand only, this routine costs over $600, but there are more affordable ways to repeat it, even with a $100 budget.

  1. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the only male celebrity on the list, highlighting the lack of good celebrity examples when it comes to male skincare. His routine is looked up online by 36,400 people each month, while his male grooming brand, Papatui, has an audience of 128,000 Instagram followers. His skincare is simple and clear. It consists of a deep wash of the face each day, then a toner, and finally, a moisturizer.

  1. Beyoncé

Over half a million people follow Beyoncé’s beauty brand, Cécred, and her own skincare routine is based on her products and deep hydration. It is more complicated than Sofia’s or Rock’s, including cleansing, exfoliating, toning, applying serums for specific concerns, eye creams, and daily application of sunscreen (SPF 30+).

  1. Hailey Bieber

Hailey Bieber’s skincare routine is the fifth most-popular, with her 9-minute video guide for Vogue getting over 3 million views on YouTube. Hailey describes her current method as ‘no nonsense beauty' and names sunscreen, concealer, and minimal makeup as her go-to skincare approach. Her cosmetic brand, Rhode Skin, was so successful that she sold it for $1 billion to e.l.f.

Dermatology expert Ada Hathway at Skinara® shared her insight: “It’s great to see sunscreen finally being recognized in the cosmetic industry and among celebrities. Protecting the skin from UV damage is one of the most effective ways to prevent premature aging and preserve long-term skin health. Many people skip this step because they use it only under scorching sun or when sunbathing, but it’s a perfect everyday tool for those who care about their skin.”
